The pigeons left St. Polten (233 km) at 13.30. Due to the bad weather the pigeons could not leave from Scharding. There is a hard Northwest wind.

Delta club

Dear Sport friends,

It is almost time, the training flights are over and on the 10th of august the first pre flight in the programme is planned. The pigeons fulfilled already 10 training flights and are now ready for the beautiful prizes and ready to collect the honour. It will be exiting again and of course enjoying also.

About 300 pigeons will participate on the first official flight.

We do our best to inform you as much as possible about the progress at the Delta club. Coming period we shall post on a regular base information’s about the race and it’s location.

Of course we shall appreciate it if many of our participants would be present at the final race on 29^th of August.

We shall organize a couple of fantastic days. If needed we can also arrange the trip to Hungary.

The Dutch-Hungarian breeding & test Centrum “Delta-Club” at Balaton

Fökajár (3 km from Balatonlake) will be organising for it’s eight time an international

One loft race for young birds. The First prize money will be 7000 euro !!!

It shall be an extreme challenge to participate in this race.

The organisation shall make it again a big success this year and therefore we

would like to invite our foreign fanciers with their pigeons to participate. This international

race shall again be a huge success with lots of extra prices and surprises!!

Our regulations:

1. Every fancier shall have the possibility to participate with an unlimited number of pigeons. The costs shall be 50 euro per pigeon (incl. transport to Hungary). When entering 5 pigeons

the 6^th pigeon will free of charge. Every participant shall receive a free lottery ticket (main price is a surprise). The pigeons will need to be 28 days old. They shall need to be at the breeding station before the 20^th of May (all pigeons will be collected and brought together to Hungary)

The two collection dates in Ferwert – Holland are 25^th of April and 16^th of May.

1. Pigeons shall only be accepted when a fully filled in pedigree including name, address and phone number of the participant are handed in. The identity card shall also need to be handed in.

Entree fee shall need to be paid directly.

All pigeons shall become property of “Delta-Club” and shall be sold after the final race on a later date.

Fanciers will receive 50 % of the amount for which the pigeon is sold (above 10.000 ft or 50 euro)

1. The racing schedule will be as follows:

A flight of 140 km on 7^th of August A flight of 250km on.

21^st of August

A flight of 160 km on 14^th of August The Final race of 400 km on

29th of August

(The dropszones will be known in a later time period after receiving the licences)

All hot spot races will be closed after 6 days!!!

Every winner of the first 3 hot spot races shall receive a surprise. The first 3 pigeons shall be rewarded with a diploma and/or cup. Over the 4 different races the first 10 ace pigeons shall receive a cup and/or diploma!!

• The participant shall be informed on a regular base. Before the final race the participants shall be informed how many pigeons are participating on the final race.

On the 29^th of August there will be a spectacular lottery with top pigeons of different fanciers.

The price money for the final race will be based on a minimum of 900 entrees (with less entrees the price money will be adjusted)

When we have enough interested participants then we shall organise a complete programme with flight to Hungary with main event the arrival of the participating pigeons on the 29^th of August 2009.

Wednesday 26 Aug.-Flight to Budapest or Balaton

- check in and when possible have dinner

Thursday 27 Aug- Sailing on Balaton lake

Friday 28 Aug.- 3 pm basketting of the pigeons for the final race.

6 pm we leave with a touring car to a nice location for dinner with

Saturday 29.Aug.-10 am – opening of day programme

- different activities, lotteries, quiz etc

-arrival of the pigeons

8 pm Price event with dinner, dancing and Music

Sunday 30 Aug 10 am we leave with a touring car to Budapest and / or a puszta programme with horse show and lunch. In the evening flight back home.

Costs:

- Flight ticket: 150-250 euro pp.

-Hotel room: ca.35 euro per night/pp.

– Boat trip: ca.10 euro pp.

- Programme Friday (incl. dinner and 4 consumption) – restaurant bill will be for the Delta club. Dinner on the final event evening will costs 20 euro p.p. rekening
